as part of the house of fairy tales exhibition in the Art Gallery, they had also created a section much like a treasure quest, the 'Exquisite Trove'. In which the artists had created pieces also demonstrating the lights and darks of fairy tales, but again also expressing their own interpretations.
This work i found much more inspiring then the paintings, as their views were brought 'to life' and i found them much more interesting in my opinion. The objects i found also brought more 'life' into their work, but also made it much more personal.

A few of my favourite pieces in this collection were the abstract insects in glass bottles. Being small, i found this work very intrecate and beautifuly detailed, showing the time gone into this piece.
Another one of my favoruite pieces in this collection was the barbie in her dressing room. I found this very interesting as it showed two dimensions of the 'woman with it all'. Showing this i found it very unusual as well as the was she was posistioned in, making u assume your own opinions of her, being hung from her long blonde hair.
